Disadvantages of self-stimulation: 

1. There is the danger that self-stimulation may be preferred to normal original play, and this may affect sensual relationship after marriage.

2. In men, self-enjoyment has been known to be associated with premature flow, that is, having flow before or just after sensual play has begun.

3. If a person thinks of self-stimulation and nothing else or if his or her whole existence revolves around self stimulation then there is something harmful but if one enjoys self pleasure

4. Self-stimulation causes infections in females. It can make women lose her virginity. It sometimes causes infertility.

5. Self stimulation weakens the hormone responsible in producing sperm.

6. Most people who self enjoys have a feeling of guilt of doing something they have been made to believe is bad. Most of these feelings arose from religious or cultural taboo and traditional beliefs on sensual behavior and practices.

7. Bruising of the play organs can occur during self-enjoyment, particularly if they are handled roughly during the act or if there is not enough lubrication. These can cause a lot of pain and can lead to serious infection if contaminated by germs.

8. Like all habits, it may be difficult to break for some people. The tendency is also there for adolescents to do nothing else but self-stimulation whenever they have some free time. This is bad, as it does not allow them to develop other aspects of their talent and broaden their horizon for the world ahead.

9. If self-stimulation is excessive, done many times a day and used as a drug to self soothe, then it is itself an addiction that can have harmful consequences

Tips to stop a self enjoyment Addiction

1. Remove anything that tempts your urge to self stimulates.

2. If you have the tendency to self stimulate looking at a dirty picture on the computer, try moving your computer into a room where others can see you.

3. Spend more time with friends and family

4. Play video games when the urge pops up, because sometimes the distraction of video games is healthier and will get rid of the bad thought for a while.

5. If you have a problem with self enjoyment in the shower, set a short timer and try getting out before that timer goes off.

6.  If you self enjoy frequently because you feel lonely, find ways to limit your solitude

7. Consider installing dirty picture-blocking software on your computer.

8. Find another outlet for your time and energy. Fill your life with engaging activities

9. If you have a problem in bed, keep mints or candy next to your bed. Sometimes eating a snack or a small piece helps. When your mouth produces more saliva it brings on serotonin, and that brings on a sense of well-being and comfort. You can choose sugar-free so you don’t worry about dental problems

10. Eat healthy. Fruits and vegetables have healthy effects on the body and provide nutrients necessary to increase your energy to be more active throughout the day.

11. Know when to seek help. If you’ve tried everything and just can’t seem to get your addiction under control, it might be time to tell someone else about your problem and ask for assistance. Don’t feel ashamed, and remember that many people have similar problems like an addiction…

How many time one should self stimulate in one week?

Three times a week is a good balance, since it keeps hormones flowing without causing your strength to be continually drained.

It may be concluded in last that if you feel that its right time for action then go for it else avoid. Over dose of each and every thing is very bad and if you over practice self enjoyment then you may suffer the problems
