Cancer Signs Most Women Ignore

Frequent checkup to rule out cancer is not the only way to keep oneself safe.  You need to be on the lookout for any subtle or visible changes in the body. 

If it is odd and unexplainable, you should go in for checkup to rule out any form of cancer.  Here are 20-deadly cancer signs most women ignore.

Back and Lower Back Pain

Back and lower back pain can indicate other underlying health issues.  But at the same time, it can be a pointer to liver cancer as people with liver cancer always complain of severe back and lower back pain.  This is caused due to the tumor’s pressure on the ribs and chest.  It can also be breast cancer.  Going for a thorough checkup would be wise.

Changes in Nail

Be aware of fingernail changes.  Any variations could indicate an underlying cancer.  Pale and white nails can be an indicator of liver cancer, black or brown dot that of skin cancer, and any sudden visible changes in the nail texture could be liver cancer.  To rule out cancer, seeks doctor’s advice.

Swollen/Red Face

Swollen or red face is an indicator of lung tumors.  Patients with lung cancer have swollen/red face.  The fact is that lung tumors block the chest blood vessels and restrict blood flow to the face making it look swollen and red.  To rule out any type of lung cancer, a checkup at the doctor’s office is good.

Sore Skin Lumps

Leukemia or lung cancer could be the underlying cause of a chronic cough and chronic chest pain accompanied by a pain that radiates down to the shoulder and arms.  If you have any of these symptoms, have it checked before it is too late.

Often swollen lymph nodes, neck, armpits, and groin can be a definite indicator of cancer.  But have it checked to see if it is something else.

People with colorectal cancer have the above symptoms.  To rule out cancer, it is advisable to seek a doctor’s opinion if you find bloody stool or rectal bleeding.

Unexplained Weight Loss

Unexplained weight loss can be an indicator of cancers of the colon and other digestive organs.  If any cancer has spread to the liver, the weight loss could be due to the affected appetite and the body’s inability to eliminate toxins.  Have a thorough checkup to rule out any bad news.
