8-Homemade shampoo recipes for a lustrous and shiny hair

Many are not aware of the harmful chemicals present in cosmetic shampoos and also the harmful effects these products can have on your hair. 

Trying out homemade shampoos which are made from natural ingredients (inexpensive) will provide your hair and scalp the much needed nourishment and also helps keep your hair smooth, silky, and lustrous. 

Here are 8-homemade shampoo recipes

Recipe #1

Take 2-3 eggs, pour it into a bowl and beat it well to mix thoroughly, apply it to your hair, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes, then wash off the smell of egg using clean water and a mild conditioner (homemade).

How to make the homemade conditioner? 

To 1 L of water, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 4-5 drops of aromatic essential oil (probably which smells of lavender), mix it well, and use it as a conditioner.

Recipe #2

Take 2 to 3 eggs, separate the yolk from the white, pour it into a bowl, add 2-3 tablespoons of honey, beat it well, and apply it onto your wet hair and scalp, massage it thoroughly.  Wash the hair and scalp with clean water and the natural homemade hair conditioner.

Recipe #3

Take 3 eggs, separate the yolk from the white, pour it into a bowl, add 2 to 3 drops of olive oil, beat it well, apply it to your hair, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it off using clean water and the natural homemade hair conditioner.  Good for dry hair.

Recipe #4

This is a great way to nourish your hair.  Take 2 eggs, add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2-3 drops of olive oil, and 1 to 1-1/2 drops of olive oil, and mix it well.  Apply it to your hair and scalp using a massage technique, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes, then wash it off with clean water and the natural homemade hair conditioner.

Recipe #5

Take 1 lemon and 1 medium-sized cucumber, peel them, mix both the ingredients well to make a paste using a blender,  apply it to the hair and scalp area, leave it for some time, and then using a mild conditioner and clean water wash it off.

Recipe #6

Take apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoons), organic castile soap (1 cup), tea tree oil (1 tablespoon), and water (1/4 cup)

Mix well all the ingredients well, add 2 to 3 drops of aromatic essential oil, apply it to the hair and scalp area, leave it for some time, then wash it off with clean water and the mild natural homemade hair conditioner.

Recipe #7

Take 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, and 2 to 3 ml olive oil.  Mix all the ingredients well, apply it to the hair and scalp, leave it for 10 to 15 minutes, and then wash it off with clean water and the homemade hair conditioner.

Recipe #8

Take 1 ripe avocado (peeled), 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda, and a 1/4 cup of distilled water.  Make a smooth paste of the ingredients and apply it to the hair and wash it off with clean water and the natural homemade hair conditioner.
